HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
We took in our Ford Ranger for a timing belt issue. They fixed is quickly and at reasonable rates. Richard was also willing to advise on fuel treatment and our other car. Very pleased. Will use again.
Went to get my vehicle checked for not running. Never gave calls back, had to call him myself everyday for a new update. Horrible management never gave me a estaminet for what I was going be charged for. Then tells me he charges whatever after he "found the problem" a week later!! He took tooo long to "fix it" When he says it "done" I come to pick it with a BIG OLE bill that had me at a lost for words! Then drive it home to find it wouldn't run. And he tells he'll charge more! Later went to a different shop to find out he didn't do his job right. And other problems he couldn't find over a week but this guy took 3hrs.
Was told by Birds across the Street, to make sure that the radiator was the issue. Upon pulling up, no one came out to help me. I called the shop, and the guy on the phone was extremely quick and rude. I explained that I was handicap, I only have one leg, and that the parking was on a high slope comma and if he could come out and talk to me. He said that as I can tell from the parking lot, they are very busy what did I need. This jerk wouldn't even come out and greet me. Poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend coming here.
TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE
I took my car to this mechanic because of all of the great reviews. I know most people only leave negative reviews so I gave it a shot. BIG MISTAKE! They had my car for almost a month, and when I would call Richard (who needs help in the customer service department) acted put out. Everyday I was given a new excuse as to why my vehicle was not ready. After week three he called and said the car was ready, but once I got there to pick it up and paid Richard he stated that the car was running a little rough and to drive it for the weekend and see if it clears out. When leaving the parking lot I noticed that my car was smoking and he said it was probably just some spilled oil. After I explained that it was smoking a lot he decided he should come look at it again. He asked if I could leave it and he would call me Monday after noon with an update. No call...I called him on Tuesday to give him the benefit of the doubt, and there was still no answers for what was going on. My husband finally said that if he could not give him an answer by Wednesday to just leave the car and we would pick it up. No call on Wednesday.. Called Richard on Thursday and he said that my husband said to stop working on the car and we could pick it up. The shop behind Luckie's told my husband that my car had been sitting for a week and no one had even touched it. Avoid this shop at all cost unless you have money to throw away and do not need your car for awhile.
Autoshop that is honest with their customers. Was told by another shop my transmission was going out. The team at luckie's diagnosed the problem for $99 replaced a part and i was on my way same day.
