What a fun day! Food was quite good, everyone there was friendly, and they had some very entertaining shows. On top of it there were some great vendors that didn't seem to have the markup I was expecting.

OMG, if you have not been here, make a point to go. It is only open 8 weeks a year in April and May, closing on Memorial Day. Fabulous Veterans Parade that day. Also, only open on weekends in April and May but does have a school day each year. I really cannot say enough good things. Great food at the Rose and Crown, amazing vendors such as Wonderous Works in Wood, a glass blower, candle maker, homemade soaps and many, many more. The entertainment is also amazing and diverse from adult comedy to family friendly to magicians, knife throwers and jugglers. And do not miss the Joust. Plan ti spend the entire day there, the entire weekend would be better though.

It's pricey (the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars) but everyone should know that already. Get into the spirit of the festival and you'll have a great time.

real disappointment. my husband won tickets off a local radio station that was truly appreciated. we arrived and was told we had to wait 4 hours or 2 hours if we wanted to buy a fast pass. I think events that are family friendly are great but when the cost of paticipating is more important than the customers having fun, its just not worth the effort to support the function.

Getting a little pricey in its old age but still a great place to take the kids and meet cool and some weird people see some great shows enjoy good food and lots of very cool shops...

Opening family fun day was quite an experience! The gift shops of homemade goods was not a let down and the kettle corn was a sweet treat.
